Description
The Soete Liefde (which is old-Dutch for ‘Sweet Love’) cheeses are made by Farmer Nijland in a small vilage in the Twente area in Holland. The Twente area is located in the east of The Netherlands, far away from modern influences from the west. Its inhabitants (known as Tukkers) are people who take great care of their traditions and a lifestyle in which sharing good food and drinks is an important custom. Due to a special ripening this cheese is full of flavour ánd super extra creamy.
This cheese is one of our favourites at our cheese markets in The Netherlands, both for locals and visitors!
